  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • At the begginning of my placement I didn’t have much to do as I was not put on a proper project untill October, after October I thoroughly enjoyed working on an aml and had lots of opportunities to take part in extra roles and responsibilities

  • I felt very valued by colleagues as I was giving as much opportunity as normal business analysts

  • I was given good support from my team lead however not much 121 contact with my line manager

  • When deadlines were approaching we were very busy but steady every other day

  • I had an extra roll within my team so I had more responsibility then a lot of other members in my team but I enjoyed it

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I now have a better insight in how big the industry is and how it all works, I’ve developed new and existing skills

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Once a month we had awards and within or team we had team bonding and group training sessions, so you felt apart of the team. The office was a good atmosphere to work in as if you needed help there was always people there

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was organised as placement student had a lot of support however there was supposed to be placement student socials every few months but it only happened once

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • You had the opportunity to gain and extra qualification however being in such a big firm it was hard to get special personal training other than your own project training

  • I have accepted my graduate job but do not intend to stay permanently

  • There was a good social scene between colleagues but not other placement students

  • Pwc would subsidize team socials and first Fridays

  • First Fridays were always good to go to
