The Role
Great experience, friendliest place to work, with stimulating work and always kept busy with a range of things to do.
Everyone very invested in what I was doing, was able to do a project with a real impact to the business which everyone cared about.
Everyone very willing to give help, rarely were people too busy to help, and if they were they'd always arrange another time to meet.
Some days busier than others, but the onus is on you to sort your work out and schedule, which is good responsibility to have but you have to make sure you are organised.
Project wasn't contrived and had a real impact on the business, and was carried on after I left by someone else, so it wasn't just discarded.
Learnt some invaluable technical skills. Great if you want to learn some more unique coding skills such as Matlab and SQL. Lots of skills that will I will take with me at university and in my future career.
The Company
Really fun, very relaxed but also very hard working. Drinks were often organised on a Friday and pay day drinks in the office once a month.
Totally well organised - my team had planned my project meticulously but also left it with me to decide where I wanted to take it. Never felt disorganised.
Definite atmosphere of training in the hope that if suitable, we'd want to come back to the business in the future.

The Culture
Yes - very young office with a lot of fun people who enjoy going out and doing things outside the office.
I live in London anyway, but if you live in Welwyn its not the cheapest place as it is a commuter town, so rent is quite high.
Didn't live in the area where I worked, but there were a few pubs - mostly people went out in London as the train was only 20 minutes.
Lots of socials organised by the department, and pub trips weekly.
