    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The scheme was arranged so that we had sufficient time to work within our teams whilst also being able to attend talks and presentations to learn more about the firm.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I was supported by the team and given real client work. Additionally, I was able to attend the firm wide forum and presentations from Heads of Departments and the Chairman of the firm.

    • I was never left alone to do a task and everything was fully explained beforehand. If I ever had questions I was encouraged to ask

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I believe that the skills I developed and information I received will assist me in securing a training contract as I now have a much wider understanding of the inner-working of a City law firm.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The two weeks were very well structured and this provided us with ample time to spend in our teams as well as attend talks/meetings etc.

    • Everyone I met was friendly, engaging and approachable. Culture is something that is really important to the firm and this was evident throughout my vacation scheme.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • We were able to get involved in real work throughout the scheme. Also, we were afforded the opportunity to speak to current trainees, and NQs that really helped us understand daily life at the firm.

    • Over the two weeks, we had 3 social events with trainees and additional networking opportunities with senior people at the firm
