About You
Heavily. I was nervous going into it as I had no idea what to expect however there were many different aspects to the insight and many engaging activities.
Lots of networking events with the senior and junior colleagues, asked lots of questions and got to know many people on my scheme as well as at the company.
Work shadowing with full time colleagues at Barclays, they were both welcoming and informative. I enjoyed the project work with my teammates who were both supportive and helped guide me when I was having issues with the work.
Personally I didn't know much about the technology industry or banking for that matter before joining the scheme. The insight week was very informative and I learned a vast amount.
The Company
The insight was structured well and it ran smoothly.
A positive atmosphere and all students got on very well even though we all came from different Universities and backgrounds.
Everything Else
Yes we spoke to many colleagues at Barclays at 3 different events. We had dinner and drinks in the evening and had the opportunity to ask many questions.
