    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was an amazing experience. Very information rich and challenging. I had the opportunity to meet many great people and learn a lot about the industry. I haven't had a brain burning experience like that for a long time. The insight really made me want to work in PwC in the future!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I was treated as a respected member of the team and was assigned to do a task on my own on the last day. I felt like it was a responsible task and being given that amount of trust is a key indicator of how great the culture in the company is.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I was assigned to a fairly high profile project and on the first day many things went right over my head but everyone was extremely helpful. The team helped me understand the project and gave me advice and insight on everything related to my interests and more.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learned a lot and I think I understand the competitive business world way better now. I want to work in the industry and I believe that this insight gave me key values and skills that will help me make that possible.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It started with an induction that took several hours and then I was sent to meet my Leader. It was day for day and everything was happening very fast. The experience was very challenging and rewarding. In terms of structure, due to the nature of work that a director in PwC does, it wasn't always sure that the plan won't change in the last moment but I didn't going with the flow.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Up beat and very friendly. I recommend PwC and the Women in Business program to everyone.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was given a personal laptop, electronic pass for all offices in London and was over all cared for by the company quite a lot. The programme started with an induction where they made sure everyone understood what was going on and gave us a good idea of what was to come.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • I got an insight into the day to day activities of a director and people working on the project but I don't believe that to be indicative of work environment on every level. I had the chance to participate in meetings that meant ti improve overall employee conditions and I understand that everyone is cared for and matters for the company.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Everything they say that is important to them on their website, I found to be true and if you are looking for a point of reference, I'd start there.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • I want to work in Assurance in PwC... Basically, very valuable.
