  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Baker McKenzie gave me real work shadowing and at every stage wanted to give us responsibilities like the trainees. This made us feel extremely welcome and valued and has encouraged me to apply.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The scheme provided the essential guidance for applying to a vacation scheme and during the event, constant support was offered to guide us through the scheme. After the event, I even received messages off trainees and emails from the team asking how the scheme was and any areas for improvement whilst extending their offer to help with any future application.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I found it particularly useful to undertake a mock presentation regarding a hypothetical business decision surround technology firms. This encouraged me to seek out further information and has allowed me to see how the very academically focused law degree can be used in the real world.
