About You
Thoroughly enjoyed the insight day. The day was spent between shadowing different employees, networking with staff (from all levels - associates to directors), lunching with current placement students, presentation talks about the division from managing directors and presentations about the recruitment process. Lots of information was given and the staff were open to any questions.
The firm were very welcoming and gave you a lot of time to ask questions, the opportunities to get CVs looked over and the employees that I got to shadow went into a lot of detail when explaining their job roles and the current projects that they were working on.
The insight day helped me understand their recruitment process in great detail as well as what I can expect from their assessment centres. They also highlighted what they look for in their candidates, applications and team assessments.
The Company
It was very well structured - from the moment we walked into the building and directed to the conference room, from the moment we left, everything flowed and all participants knew what we were doing and when we were doing so.
They allowed time for me to get feedback on my CV, in which I found helpful, not only to their firm, but for future applications.
Everything Else
They reimbursed travel expenses between £30-£70.
We got the opportunity to network over tea and coffee with employees of all levels at the end of the day and build on the knowledge that we had gained during the day.
