The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship.
My colleagues were very respectful and did not just give the worst work to me, they gave me a wide variety of different tasks some of which would normally be performed by people much higher up the ladder of seniority.
The extent to which the people who gave me work explained what they wanted me to do was superb. On one occasion someone spent 2 hours explaining to me how to do a task.
Very busy, very few periods where i didnt have any work.
An appropriate level of responsibility given that I was only with the organisation for 6 weeks.
The computer skills which I have developed during the six weeks will stand me in good stead going forward whatever I choose to do. If I stay in the industry then the technical skills I have gained will be very useful of course.
The Company
The atmosphere was very supportive, did not appear that people were trying to stab their colleagues in the back and people celebrated eachothers success.
The structure to the internship was very good. Perhaps a week of induction was a little long but overall I cant complain.
The company invested in 2 nights accommodation at a luxury hotel for the first few days for the training.
Very
The Culture
There were no other interns on my team and only 2 on my floor but I was able to interact with them a certain amount
