  • Settled in quickly and then the job went really smoothly.

  • Immediately felt part of the team, and participated in all team meetings from the start.

  • My manager wasn't there for the first 2 weeks, but my other colleagues were very helpful too.

  • Very busy towards the end.

  • I had control over the tools I was designing.

  • Everyone was very friendly and interested in you.

  • A lot of time was spent in the first 3 weeks ensuring that I understood all about the programming languages.

  • Good, having completed an internship, I can go straight to the second round interviews if I were to apply for a graduate job.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Not really, there were lots of trips to the pub but I didn't really socialize with the other interns apart from that.

  • Edinburgh is quite expensive, especially during Edinburgh Festival.

  • Edinburgh has a good nightlife scene.

  • Not so much in the Edinburgh office, but the London office has many more sports clubs etc to join.
