About You
Good, lovely people, initially lots of work to do but quantity of work tailed off in latter half of 4 weeks
don't think I did anything particularly valuable but the team I was in was really nice and made me feel very welcome.
lots of help and support from people leaders, buddys and performance managers
getting to grips with technical tools was useful e.g. Qlik but would have liked more workshops and with fewer people/bigger rooms they were cramped at times and quite rushed.
The Company
overall insight was well structured shame about limited social intern things until later on
positive, people were friendly, good team atmosphere.
training sessions for 2 hrs every Friday for the 4 weeks, varied in quality, good concepts covered but could have spent more time on them or broken them up in to 1 hr blocks which were more focused and held them across the week.
good idea of what it would be like to work in the company as a graduate, pair you up with grads so you can ask them questions about their experience, you sit within a team so lots of opportunities to ask questions .
a lot - very friendly and welcoming
varied on the day, some were monotonous others more exciting, not entirely sure what I want to do still but made me think about what I enjoyed and what I disliked doing.
Everything Else
think paid around £1600 (tax and NI to be deducted) for 4 weeks hours 9:30-5:30
yes plenty of opps, social and work drinks, very friendly vibe.
yes plentiy - work drinks and talks regularly that were free to attend and were well attended and organised
yes plenty of choice, didn't see any personally but heard about sports teams, volunteering etc.
yes it was an enjoyable and useful experience
