The Role
Boots was my first ever internship which was highly suggested by my mentor to maintain more skills and get an insight on the makeup side of fashion, it wasn't easy at first learning the skills i was only the intern so they kept passing me from post to post
Some were really nice others didn't wan't to know
Alot of support from my supervisors they were there for me the who duration of my placement, they focus alot on students to try make them get the best they can out of the time you have there.
Rather busy as if they didn't want me serving customers they'ed be teaching me sales techniques and how to promote the stock to the right customers as I was doing fashion in University so learning colours that match skin tones helped tones for my course.
Not alot but its an internship I didn't expect any at all but they like to give interns a right to give opinions on what to do next
Defiantly something I've remembered and will remember for my whole life-span
The Company
Was nice helping the customers and finding out new stuff about the makeup and fashion world learning new tips, they really helped me out.
Very well put together for an internship I think there was always things to do and they were always learning you knew things
An awful lot I was always learning new things
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Maybe I'll go back in a few years learn some new things
The Culture
The social side of the internship was really good because it wants a job it wasn't it wasn't as strict.
Rather cheap for students as you get discounts in some places.
Amazing even if we just had girly nights in or went bowling it was always a laugh.
Things to do with the store and getting invited out every week
