  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Definitely. In each practice that I sat in, every member of the team made an effort to get to know me as a colleague and as an individual. This was consistent in all levels of the firm, bit it a Partner or a Trainee. We were given a supervisor and a trainee buddy also, which clearly identified who we could turn to if we had any concerns.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • A lot of guidance when it came to the work. However, each piece of written work we completed were included as part of our appraisal.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • I feel as though I have a good understanding of what it would be like to have a full time role with HSF. The experience was very hands-on and practical and vacation scheme students were often contributing to cases dealt with by their supervisors.
