About You
It was a really useful and enjoyable day with a range of suitable activities to give you a better idea about the company - their ethos, the work life balance, graduate scheme and internship details ect.
They were really interested in finding out what everyone wanted to gain from the experience and ensured that those aims were met.
The day was well structured with a range of insightful and useful activities.
I got some really good advise from some employees who went through the graduate scheme on which modules to take and ways to make myself stand out.
The Company
It was very well organised and ran seamlessly.
It was very relaxed and informative. There was no pressure or judgement from anyone we met.
The day was mostly based around giving information about the company but they did give us some tips on interview and provide some constructive feedback to a practice question.
We got to talk to a range of employees from different parts of the company, including current and ex graduates.
It was a great opportunity to talk to employees about their day to day work and the steps they took to get there and that helped to give an overview of what it would be like to be part of the BP team.
It was very useful. I went into the process not knowing a lot about BP apart from the company values, but the day gave me a real insight into what a career with BP could look like.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were reimbursed and food provided.
There was a networking lunch as well as various employees running different tasks.
All of the people involved in the networking session were happy to share their experiences and answer questions.
Yes. The graduates talked about the work-life balance of working with BP and the types of team building exercises and outings that were regularly organised.
Yes, definitely for people on my course or for people who are not sure about whether BP is the right choice for them.
