  • Relaxed but highly productive atmosphere.

  • It's like one big family here - regular social events.

  • Very well supported by both colleagues and management.

  • Workload varies according to the particulars of your project, but there is always productive work to be done.

  • I was given absolute responsibility over my personal time management. As long as I delivered productive work each week, I was free to structure and prioritise my own time as I chose.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Not only is proficient programming a very useful skill to have for the future, I had the opportunity to hone my analytical and problem-solving skills in a context outside of degree work.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Plenty of chill-out space, relaxed, open-plan office (even directors share the same desks as interns), well-equipped kitchen and gym. Lots of different social events in the evenings.

  • I always had enough work to do, and there were always several people who could help me out with problems.

  • Permanent staff spent a fair amount of time running training classes and reviewing code.

  • They want me to come back permanently.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Interns were mostly placed together in a team, at first at least, so we had a good opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.

  • London is expensive...

  • London nightlife is alright.
