    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I was very positively surprised by the spring week program, since I attended it with no high expectations. It turned out to be very beneficial and helpful, as it grew my network and my knowledge of the department I applied to.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Very! People from junior analysts to MD were all trying to help me out by giving me advice and insight on their work

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Again, very much. Everyone offered to help several times. Whenever I had a question or needed help, there was always someone available. Even when I didn't ask for any help

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • After this week, I have a much clearer understanding of what it means to work in corporate banking (the division I applied to). I also know more about other departments, and therefore I have a clearer sense of my future plans

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was very well organized. One point is that sometimes we needed to be at one place at a specific time. However, I often came in late because people from my department didn't know I had other things to do so they kept me with them for a longer time. It was a bit hard to tell them that I needed to be somewhere else.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Amazing atmosphere! All the employees were very helpful and friendly and we didn't feel unwelcome at any time.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • While I didn't really have the chance to work on something per say, I got to work shadow a lot, and that is also a sort of training.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The spring week made it very clear to me regarding what it would be like to have a full time role with Citi

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Very much. We also had the chance to meet with some of the communities at Citi (LGBT, Women...etc)

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Again, the spring week made things much clearer in my head. I wouldn't go as far as to say that I'm now a 100% confident about what I'd like to do in the long run, however, I'm much more confident of my future career plans than I was before joining the Citi spring week.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • A lot of opportunities. Everyone was open for discussions or for a coffee chat, and the HRs organized many networking events throughout the week.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Very well organized, very helpful. The HRs also organized a networking event with the juniors at a very nice pub, where we had food, drinks, and even games. This made it much easier and much more fun to interact with the juniors.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes, during the many presentations we attended

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Without a doubt. A great opportunity to truly step inside Citi
