The Role
I got quite lost in the middle of my internship which meant I found it a lot of hard work to catch up, but toward the end when my work started to come together I really enjoeyed it.
Everyone in my team was very friendly and helpful and always approachable.
I was given an initial briefing and was given guidance, but a little more would have been useful to me.
BP is very flexible and there is a good range of work and other work related activities to do.
I was working on an important piece of groundwork which is being fed into a larger project so my work definitely left me feeling like I'd achieved something.
I have definitely learnt a huge deal about the type of work, about working in a large complany, and about myself. This internship has been invaluable to me for that fact.
The Company
It was quite good, people were nice and approachable but I felt people could have been a bit more chatty overall
The internship prgram at Bp itself is absolutely brilliantly organised. Highly recommended.
I was taught how to use a lot of programs and how to interpret work and definitely had sufficient skill training in my time here.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I think that i would loike ot work for the company, but need a little time to reflect on that once my internship is finished.
The Culture
Yes there was a fantastic social side with other interns.
Central London...so quite expensive!!!
Nightlife very good near accom in central London. however Bp offices themselves are outside of central london.
There are opporutunities but I was kept quite busy with my work to do very much.
