The Role
My internship exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed it.
My colleagues treated me the same. Within a few weeks I was asked for my opinion and got involved I many things
My manager was very organised and we had weekly catch-ups about what I had done, what I was going to do, challenges and also new things that I could get involved to develop new skills
I could be more or less busy. I chose the amount of work that wa adequate
Some of my projects involved the same level of responsibility as other full time employees
The best skill I learned was how to work in a busy and dynamic organisation
The Company
The office is busy, but with a great ambiance. Really fun.
It was very organised from the beginning. Great communications
I attended many courses in my area and also there were some courses for all interns like presentation skills, CV and Cover Letter
Subsidised Canteen
AS a charity, there are not so many new vacancies, but they definitely recruit as many interns as possible.
The Culture
We had a Thirsty Thursday and many other social gatherings
London is expensive, so this is probably not the place to be if you are in a low budget
Some fun nightclubs around. It is very easy to travel around London anyway
There were many fun fundraising events that we could get involved with
