The Role
Met lots of interesting new people and really got stuck into the job.
I was given a really challenging project and allowed to take full control of it.
I was given a mentor and line manager who both took interest in how I was/what I was doing.
There was always work to do and you could take your project as deep and as far as you wanted.
Total, my project is going to be used in BP's new wells
I understand the oil and gas industry a huge amount more now, and the people skills are incresibly useful.
The Company
Everyone was willing to chat and help.
It was clear what I was expected to do and there was lots of opportunities to get involved outside of work.
I've developed a lot on this internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very good!
The Culture
We all lived together in university accomodation.
Good, however expensive in areas.
Lots of places to go out, Tiger Tiger on saturdays a favourite.
I did canoeing for BP in the Corporate Decathlon!
