The Role
Really interesting woringk for BP and learning more about PSCM.
Lots of team outings, includes going to horse racing, playing rounders, out for dinner and a BBQ and boat cruise along the thames!
No spoon-feeding but always ready to help when asked, a pretty good balance most of the time.
Lots of work to do, but very much left to my own devices.
Project manager of the work I was doing, involved stakeholder engagement and a final presentation to a panel of senior managers.
Not relevant to my degree at all (Economics) but great business skills and presentation skills learnt.
The Company
Pretty quite most of the time, but some of the interns sit together which was quite fun..
Interesting projects set out for me before I arrived and ready for me to get on with.
Learnt a lot from colleagues, who were always willing to take time out of their day to help.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
there is an assessment centre at the end of the internship....fingers crossed for a job offer
The Culture
Most interns live together in University halls so always a good group ready to go out for dinner/ a night out after work.
Central london- so pretty pricey, but definitely worth it seeing as we are getting paid a decent amount.
Central London, so definitely a good night life
Lots of sports available and an intern dinner organised by HR.
