  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed my summer internship at the Grant Thornton Milton Keynes office very much , everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also, the tasks I was given were hands- on and not just "shadowing" work.

  • I felt very valued by my colleagues - to the extent that my input was considered important in department meetings as if I was already a permanent member of the team.

  • I was given a lot of support and guidance, there was definitely an open door policy even with senior members of my department.

  • Most days were fairly busy.

  • I was given enough responsibility from the very beginning- being allocted client billable tasks.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This internship helped me to get a much better understanding of tax law and consulting, which willl definitely help me with my graduate job .

  • Pleasant and work friendly.

  • Very well organised - right froman induction programme, performance reviews and workshops.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm invested a lot in their summer interns. The HR team delivered a two day presentation skills workshop at teir training centre and we were even required to complete some tax online modules.

  • Very Appealing, I accepted a graduate offer from them !

  • yes, after work drinks and team lunches

  • reasonable

  • A lot of clubs
