  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed it but it was also very stressful since I was doing my MSc.

    • At times I feel like I could have been office furniture, but I know they appreciated the work I did.

    • Given great guidance with write up and documentation, however I didn't feel like I had great support for the technical work.

    • Fluctuated between being bored and then having a pile of work dumped on me.

    • The work I was doing was pretty important so I guess it was a lot of responsibility.

    • The skills will be very useful in my career.

    • In a small office where it's pretty quiet.

    • Almost no training. I was left to figure things out on my own.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Pretty good social scene, though not so much with the other interns since I started work a month ahead of them.

    • Pretty standard for London: expensive.

    • No nightlife in Sunbury, but I live in central London so not an issue.

    • Plenty opportunities..couldn't take any of them becase of how busy I was.
