  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very good work experience, gave me a good insight into how the company works. Very good projects.

  • The office was a very friendly environment and I felt at home straight away

  • My line manager did help but he was busy quite often. I made friends with other colleagues and they were keen to help so I was never stuck on my own.

  • It varied for me as I had a practical project in which people wanted to get fixed so when working on that project I was very very busy. Time flew by.

  • For the project I was given I tended to be very independent in solving them myself. Especially my first project

  • My first project gave me skills in approaching and tackling real life plant operation situations. My second project gave me a good insight into research work

  • It varied alot due to the holiday season. Some weeks alot people may be away and the office was quiet; others is was full and fun

  • The internship is organised very well. No negative comments about how much organisation goes into the internships

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Alot of the interns organised socials between eachother and there was a site BBQ and graduates also organised socials

  • Hull is a cheap area to live in

  • Hull night life is average
