The Role
the placement gives moe alot of opportunities to know new people and to understand how investment bank works, very much i can say that i developt soft skills as well as more understandings of the financial services sector
the atomsphere here is very like helping each other very often, if you are stuck in one place/screwed up something just shout out and people will try to help you with their experiences
very much indeed, managers are kindly offernig help and advises, not just by telling you the answer, but by asking you some questions and make you think, you will get the answer by yourself
it's rather seasonal workload - can be working until 9pm this week, and finished all work at 3pm next week
i was given sufficient responsibility to be treated like a full time employee
training courses from HR as well as my department really gives me an exposure towards soft skills and professional knowledge
The Company
atomsphere is great friendly, professional, efficient and sometimes really relaxed
HR planned several events, training and other feedback sessions so they can understand what went well and what didn't, i can say it's verygood orgnisation
as an intern i would't say everything, but compared to other internship opportunities i rather say it is excellent in terms of the resources the firm spent on every intern
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop

The Culture

in glagow i can say the cost of living in an decent flat is not low
in glasgow you can get any kind of nightlife you want, and any level of wildness
