    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thought the placement was great. The job really pushed you at times, however people were always willing to help you progress and approached everything with a positive manner. The intern community was all one of the biggest highlights and I have made some incredible friends here.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt well valued and respected by the team I worked in and the managers I worked for.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Some tasks given to me were difficult as I had no guidance and didn't really no where to go at times. However this helped me grow, making me use my initiative and being proactive within the work place.

    3/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Work fluctuates from time to time, as you would expect, but it was a good balance

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Large responsibility for a couple of quarters, being held accountable for one of the segment's number and had a target to meet. It was tough at times but very good for making me grow.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
