The Role
It was a great experience as we got 3 main rotations and had mini ones that gave us an idea of the roles and activities on the different desks within the division
I felt included in the teams I worked with but it varied from team to team depend on the size and job roles. With a smaller team its a lot easier to fit in and be included where as in one team they pretty much kept to themselves
There were enough support groups put in place for the interns and it ranged from MDs all the way to analysts so there was always someone to turn to
After the first week of settling in the work began to come in and majority of the time you were kept busy a ject to work on. To be fair some projects had deadlines that kept you in the office till pretty late and sometimes over the weekend
To be honest it depended on the project you had been given.
The internship involved a lot of networking on almost a daily basis and this is a skill that will have to be used throughout life in all parts of business
The Company
The people were a lively bunch to work with
There were too many projects piled on to the end of the internship, which is when we would prefer to be at our desks and making a good impression to lete them know we wanted the job
We had a good introductory training week at the beginning of the internship
Company Parties/Events
Havent been informed yet on whether or not I got a job. Takes a week after the inernship to ofind out. Which doesnt make sense as they pretty much know who they want to hire already, itd be great to hear on the last day
The Culture
There were enough projects adn social events organized for us to get to know one another better
Seeing as it is London, cost of travel was high and so was rent as can be expected.
There were a number of night time social events organized by interns as well as HR
It was pretty much just work events over the 10 weeks
