  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was an amazing exeperience, I couldn't imagine a more interesting summer, particularly with the market conditions.

  • Not by all desks, but some I had a lot of client requests to perform.

  • I was given a lot of support, but it is important to remember that the market was mental, so I didn't get as much as attention as I should have had it been a different summer.

  • Usually really busy, sometimes I was running around with too much to do.

  • One of my desks I was given very big responsibilities.

  • I've definitely learnt alot this summer and I can't imagine learning what I have anywhere else.

  • Very fun, I loved the atmosphere.

  • Excellent organisation so that all of the interns were constantly busy.

  • I really want a career with this organisation. I've thoroughly enjoyed myself here.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We always had social events every week so was a great opportunity to network.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Canary wharf, so slightly more on the expensive side.

  • There were a few bars, but no clubs as such.

  • Not that I know of, we usually had social events outside of work.
