Grads4Nottm Placement Review

Really great experience, wonderful to see the workings of such a huge corporation and how many smaller factors come into place that I wouldn't of ever considered.

Felt very valued by members of staff, conversing with them and being asked opinions on concepts and new launches made me feel really appreciated. It was also great to get feedback on my own ideas from them.

I felt we all received an immense amount of support and help, but a perfect balance whilst also allowing us to take the lead with some things and learn as we went along. All employees I came across were a breath of fresh air, giving me their details and letting me know that I could contact them if I had any questions helped so much- we also met a variety of people working in different sections whom gave fantastic advice and feedback, helping us further the project

Such a valuable experience, I have been given so much great advice as to what options are there for me when I graduate and what I should be doing before I graduate which I never would have considered. It was also fantastic to be able to really delve into life working higher up in a big company and get a taste for it. Another thing was networking, I now know that this is key and it is all about who you know, so I am very grateful that they pushed that

We had a timetable for the two weeks, booked in with events and meetings so we were aware of what was happening every day and could go in and complete what needed to be done

Such a positive and upbeat atmosphere, I have never been in such a relaxed open plan work space before, instantly made me feel at ease

Eased us into the task that we were given through a variety of smaller tasks, building up to the final presentation

This was shown to us exceptionally well, through seeing it first hand working in the office, to having meetings with different departments and other employees whom had started through the grad scheme

By being in that work environment, it made me instantly get a feel for it

Although I am still not decided on a specific career, it did help by networking with employees there to open my eyes to many jobs to my interest in this company and roles that I didn't realise existed or knew what they entailed

I was very happy with the pay I recieved

There was an unlimited amount of opportunities for networking. Every day I was meeting several new employees who helped me greatly along the two weeks, with insightful information

I would honestly say that was my favourite part of the placement- every meeting I had, I left feeling like so much had been achieved and I got so much insight and key information from them to help me further the project

Yes- through word of mouth and advertisement- there seemed to be a lot, especially charity work which is great

I would definitely recommend this placement to everyone I know whom would be interested, as I really feel like with this company, there is a position for all
