The Role
Fantastic opportunity, learnt a lot. Hard work though and different experiences depending on which teams you are assigned to work with.
This varied quite a bit, depending on who you're working with. People generally willing to trust you with responsibility and take time to explain things to you.
We had a lot of organised sessions with management, plus opportunities to talk to them regularly about our progress.
Some days busier than others. Depends on the team and workload.
Limits on the amount of responsibility you can be given given confidentiality of a lot of the work, though in general responsibility level was high.
Haven't continued with my studies following the internship yet, though I think skills learnt were invaluable. Particularly personable skills and presentation.
The Company
Most people are positive. Sometimes can be a bit quiet.
Almost seamless!
Felt like they invested a lot of time in the programme.
Company Parties/Events
Don't know yet.
The Culture
Could have been more organised evening events. There were a lot of day ones but not that many in the evening.
Would drink at Canary wharf bars, but would go clubbing elsewhere.
Not many, just one or two.
