  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • General skills such as organisation and prioritisation will assist me in my studies when I return to University next year, I also learnt some medical content which may help me with specific modules next year.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Generally very friendly, open, willing to answer any questions. Occasionally some tension but this was rare.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very disorganised. There was little alignment across the company regarding the industrial trainee programme, so managers were responsible for organising your year. This sometimes meant that I would be at a disadvantage if other interns were doing visits/skills training where my department wasn't involved.

    2/5
