The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Zeus Pr. All aspects of it from my role, the clients and my colleagues meant that my placement year exceeded expectations.
The team made me feel welcome from the very first day and were some of the friendliest people I have met. I was treated as a valued member of the team and they put their trust in me by giving me many responsibilities.
They were always on hand to give me guidance and answer any questions about what I was doing. They would also give me helpful feedback to use for the future.
Some days were busier than others but I always had something to be getting on with, my team would always ask me what I was working on and gave me tasks when I had completed something.
I was giving a high level of responsibility, especially as I was an intern and in my first year of work. The team would often leave me to man the office whilst they went out to meetings. I would also manage any other short term interns that came in to work for Zeus.
My time has Zeus has given me great experiences and developed skills which I can take onto future work. I have gained a great insight into the world of PR and how it is an essential marketing tool.
The Company
There was always a friendly and enthusiastic buzz in the office.
In PR there is always something different going on everyday, so my day to day task were varied! However the overall placement was organised and I always knew what was going on.
They gave me a high level of feedback on my work and at the start of the placement taught me how everything was done and the right techniques to be used.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Zeus Pr didn't want me to leave and in fact they asked me to stay longer and work through the summer. However, I now have to go back to University to finish my degree but who knows what the future will hold!
The Culture
The social side of the job was good and we always had things to talk about at lunch time and any spare moment. We also had a great time at the Christmas party!
Living at home so couldn't have been any cheaper!
The nightlife in the area was good but didn't really go out much during my placement year.
The Christmas party!
