  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I believe this has been the best learning experience i have gained as this was my first proper office role. With the degree i studied, i was able to utilise all the material i studied and put that to practice within the organisation (DK). I was able to develop my personal skills, such as communicating, presenting and able to adapt to different situations in my tasks.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • At first because it was an internship, i thought the company are just going to provide me with basic tasks, however it was amazing that the company invested in me heavily, in terms of certain softwares which i could not access until the company had paid a fee to provide me with a log in, they paid a fee to ensure i can complete various tasks without the need of using someone elses deatils. I was able to do tasks and answer to emails with enquires so that it would reduce workload of other members of my team.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I am about to complete my internship within the next week or so, and it has been an amazing time. I was recently offered a job on a temporary basis as a financial analyst within the organisation (DK) in there finance team until christmas. Currently they want me to extend my stay as they have been impressed with my ability to handle all tasks, getting invloved in there daily activities, doing presentations and taking part in meetings. At first i thought i would not get the opportunity, but after speaking to my line manager, maybe after christmas the prospects of getting a permenant employment look very high.
