    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Was the best working experience I've had to date.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Many were supportive and encouraging but with short time frame it was hard to get the opportunity to get to know everyone.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • There was not as much contact with management as I had expected. But support was there if needed.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There was a good balance but if work was organised in advance for the quieter work periods it might have helped.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I felt like I was treated fairly equally to a new graduate.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills and training will definitely help me beyond my final year as it has confirmed my interest in the field and hope to continue doing similar work.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The right atmosphere of work and fun

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • There should have been more set up and more meetings for feedback, other than that the placement was well organised.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I felt there was little development because the training was intense and confusing but proved to be useful in the end. The company could have done more.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    0/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I'm looking forward to going back to continue the work that I enjoyed and the colleagues that were very supportive.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We met up regularly after work

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It was expensive! But then most things are for a student

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I'd say it was good, not great.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were socials organised but being there for 2 months, we didn't have the chance to get involved in too many of them.

    4/5
