The Role
After other internships in the same area in other companies, this summer internship enabled me to take part in very interesting transactions. I have been able to assist to a lot of meetings with third parties.
People regularly thanked me for my work and even put it forward in meetings with third parties. I did not expect so many positive comments is that type of work.
The internship mid term review is very useful.
The long hours are part of the job. Compared to other sections of the bank, I would say it was not bad, but nobody is happy to come to work several week ends in a row.
I worked directly with an executive director and even went to a meeting with a partner on my own.
Good development of interpersonal/technical skills
The Company
People are very busy. We still managed to go for drinks and have lunch outside together.
Good opportunities to work on several transactions and with different people.
More than in other places
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I wuold love to get a placement there but I cannot tell yet if I will.
The Culture
Question is not clear to me. If it is about making connections it was quite good.
Good quality of life is affordable. Safe area. You get to meet very interesting people in your work.
First years are mainly focues on work.
After a few years in the firm yes.
