  • You create your own workload. You are encouraged to pitch and research stories off your own back like a bonafide journalist would themselves.

  • If you don't mind taking on responsiblity, they will hand it to you on a plate. Make sure you are willing to step up though and deliver.

  • This experience has been unprescedented in my time as a trainee journalist, through university and beyond. I will take so much with me when I leave.
