The Role
The Placement was well planned and set up for students. They gave us training on their software before expecting us to use these skills to work within the company for rest of our time there.
The department i was placed in were happy with the work i produced. They made me feel welcome just like all the other staff in the company.
When i was working on the project i was given i had numerous catch-ups and meetings with my line manager.
I was given the license to basically project manage the project i was working on, this gave me responsibility as well as freedom to steer the project in the direction that i felt was best for the end results.
Going into my last year i have picked up great project management skils which will be useful for my final year project.
The Company
The overall mood and atmosphere around the whole of the SAS campus was a professional friendly atmosphere.
The internship had a well organised and well thought out plan.
The company invested in me by sending me on two professional training courses. This will hold me in good stead for the future.
