    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The Placement was well planned and set up for students. They gave us training on their software before expecting us to use these skills to work within the company for rest of our time there.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The department i was placed in were happy with the work i produced. They made me feel welcome just like all the other staff in the company.

  • When i was working on the project i was given i had numerous catch-ups and meetings with my line manager.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given the license to basically project manage the project i was working on, this gave me responsibility as well as freedom to steer the project in the direction that i felt was best for the end results.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Going into my last year i have picked up great project management skils which will be useful for my final year project.

  • The overall mood and atmosphere around the whole of the SAS campus was a professional friendly atmosphere.

  • The internship had a well organised and well thought out plan.

  • The company invested in me by sending me on two professional training courses. This will hold me in good stead for the future.

  • We all got on very well.

  • At SAS there are many social groups to get involved in such as football and cricket.
