The Role
The Firm really is a great firm, allows you to learn a lot about banking.
You really get to help senior people who value your input and respect you.
Everyone of my questions always got answered, analysts took the time to sit with me to explain harder stuff.
I was able to work on different projects during the internship, which gave me a really broad exposure to the business
I had to do charts, modelling that were really useful to the senior people in their realtionship with clientts
I really got to udnerstand the structure of deals, the different tools used by bankers on their works, which is something that can only be taught in an internship like this
The Company
Everyone was really happy about their job, which creates a good atmosphere
Everything was really smooth, I had the opportunity to attend conferences on various subjects during the internship, without it ever affecting my work
We had a week long training at the beginning which was really helpful, and during the internship everyone took the time to help us on anything we would ask
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I would really like to work for Morgan Stanley as soon as I can.
The Culture
The analysts and associate, even sometime more senior people, in our team and within the department, would sometimes take us out for a drink on a friday, which was a good way to discover them on a social scene
I have lived in London for a year so already had a flat.
On the WE, I got to hang out with fellow interns sometimes in really cool places.
The HR team had organised a few events which allowed us to get involved with the other interns.
