  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was given responsibility for various aspects of a project and I felt valued by my colleagues in this respect. Also, in terms of projects that relate to my previous industry, the colleauges solicited my experience in the past, which in turn made me feel valued.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The people that I worked with gave me good guidance on how to proceed with the projects. They also personally ensured that I was learning in the process.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was very busy during the entire internship. Considering that as an intern you don't always know the systems within the company, I would spend additional time understanding these systems.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • There has been a good amount of learning throughout the internship. These skills will help me a long way in my career ahead. Also, in terms of my MBA course, this internship helped me apply the theoritical knowledge learnt in school.

  • Fantastic! I reiterate, the people in this firm are really great!

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I think this has been the best training I have received in a long time. The best part is that the class size was not too big and this made the learning even more worthwile. The firm has invested a lot of time and money in my training and development.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very good social scene. Every person in the pool is very approachable and many a times, these are the people who help you when you need it most.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of living: I share an apartment so the costs are divided in two. I would advise 1500-2000 pounds/month including rent, socialising and travel.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I was mostly in office, so can't comment on this.

  • I didn't have time for this so I don't have any comments.
