  • Very exciting place to work, especially as I worked in Outsourcing and closely with departments that made new discovery's etc. its always exciting to work at the forefront of development in any industry!

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was immediately made to feel part of the team and was told from day one to think of myself as an employee not a student

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Mangers were all very helpful and would always push for me to go on courses, attend lectures, conferences etc

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I would say I was flat out everyday for 95% of my placement

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Responsibility seems to be earned in this company and if you prove you can work effectively and "get the job done" they are more than happy to give responsibility to you although id like to point out this was done under supervision to begin with and wasn't recklessly delegating tasks!

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • the Excel training is something that will practically apply to my business degree in my final year and the communication skills I have developed and organizational skills will benefit my life in general I have no doubt!

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Hard working, as soon as I walked in the office I knew that the guys around me were giving their all everyday and I would be expected to do the same, I like that environment though as it builds and bonds the team. This said everyone in my directorate is approachable and more than happy to help and have a laugh whilst we work.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement was well structured but ultimately it comes down to the student to be self motivated and speak up if something isn't right or they want to take on more work etc.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
