I didnt enjoy it I didnt really feel trained or equipped to handle the workload I could tell I annoyed the majority of my colleagues customers didnt like me and I was barely supported

I definitely recommend completing an industrial placement if you can You earn great experience to add to your CV and get a taste of what full time employment is really like You can finish your placement with a better idea of a career choice
I enjoyed stock intake better as i got to make the displays going up and I love being creative store was really good to there was a few wonderful regulars who always made me giggle It was a real fun but good place to be

The whole experience was very enjoyable Whilst there were some less enjoyable moments these were far outweighed by the good and overall I had a great time
I absolutely loved it I couldnt have asked for a better placement Each and every day I was using the skills that Id learned on my degree course I loved having the power to decide which items Debenhams stores would be stocking
It was very challenging and demanding but in the end it was definitely worth all the stress and pressure Debenhams is such an established and renowned company and the chance to work alongside some of the countrys best business minds made my placement
It got to the stage where I hated getting up in the morning the role itself was far too much work for me to cope with making me resent the job and particularly the organisation

It was a fantastic insight to the fashion retail business and I know now this is what I want to do The job required hard work and sometimes very long hours but it was rewarding knowing you helped get the range into stores and accessible to customers
