Working in mechanical development I had a broad range of work from running engine tests to working with suppliers
Ive enjoyed my time here with some still to go and have been able to get involved in aspects of engineering that have interested me and some that Id not really considered prior to my placement

They throw you in at the deep end and give lots of major projects right off the bat

I have not enjoyed my time at Cummins the work I have received has been uninteresting and not requiring of my education I cannot see myself considering returning to Cummins at any point in my career

A very good company to work for and one which has an excellent placement scheme with many students The job was even better than I was hoping and I have learnt a lot throughout the year
The work was pretty routine in my role but there were some points where I could really get involved in and these were enjoyable In addition the community involvement was fun
There were some tough times during this job some stressful times but all down to the level of responsibility I was given and once I improved at my job it was very enjoyable
