I originally joined Travelport for my placement year in a Talent Acquisition (HR role). After my placement year was complete, I was given the opportunity to work part time as an intern in the Commercial team which I am very grateful for as it’s a great chance to experience another area of interest. My role involves assisting the Sales Enablement Team in creating and organising learning content for Travelport’s commercial teams. It has been challenging settling into a new role as it is very different to my placement role, however my team has been very supportive and encouraging during my training which has made me feel more comfortable. I would tell a student who is interested in completing a placement year to consider Travelport! The company has a welcoming and friendly culture making it an excellent place to work.
