  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed it a lot. I met many intelligent people and learned a lot.

    • The projects I was working on seemed really useful for my team so they enjoyed and valued my work.

    • My mentor was extremely helpful, as he was constantly assisting me with all Bloomberg-specific technologies and services.

    • I did not have any hard deadlines so I did not feel pressured or busy.

    • The projects I was working on were definitely not critical.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • There will be a lot to reuse but I had to learn a certain amount of Bloomberg-specific information which will not be very useful for the future.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The atmosphere was really professional. People definitely know they are here to work and not just have fun. I really enjoyed that as I felt I was part of a serious focused development.

    • There were few things could have been improved, for example the requests for service permissions. They could have easily been done before my arrival so that I do not need to wait so long.

    • Yup definitely. I made many friends during all the events that were organized for interns.

    • The office is in one of the most expensive areas in London so socializing was definitely not the cheapest thing.

    • London is amazing so nightlife was of decent quality.
