    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • This was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend it to anyone considering a career in law at a firm like Pinsent Masons. The scheme was very well organised, and I had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people.

    • I felt valued and included by the team. It was nice to feel that I was actually contributing something and helping the time out.

    • There was always support if it was required, and there was constant feedback.

    • I was very busy, but that conveyed an accurate impression of what it would be like to work there. I enjoyed it!

    • The responsibility is limited as this is a very specialist sector. However, I was left alone to complete my tasks and could manage my own workload.

    • It was only a short period, so the effect it has had on my skills is difficult to analyse.

    • There was a good professional balance. We worked hard, but there was a good atmosphere.

    • Everyone got along well, and the organised socials were brilliant.

    • It's Manchester...
