The Role
Brilliant day, [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] was a really engaging host and we had full day of interesting activities. Would recommend to anyone at all interested in finance - I had no intention of applying for the FSA before, and now will definitely do so!
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and the graduate recruitment team were friendly and approachable. Informal questions were answered well.
Talking to current graduates was a massive plus point. I took many of the points they recommended on board.
It was a packed day! From the start at 9:45AM until close around 5, we always had something to do.
As it was only an Insight day, there wasn't really much responsibility we could have been placed under.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] did a great run-through of common application mistakes and improvements to make at the application stage and when being interviewed/in an assessment centre.
The Company
Upbeat and interesting, with a hint of mystery as 90% of the building was off-limits for the general public!
Really well organised day, even though we ran late in most activities, we had the opportunity to get more feedback on troubling parts/application mistakes.
As it was only an insight day, we couldn't really receive any formal training. The advice from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], the current graduates on the scheme, and other management was priceless, however.
Good pay relative to other financial institutions, good benefits, nice culture, amazing work/life balance.
The Culture
All the insight day students I met really enjoyed the event.
Central London/City area, so I suppose it is always going to be high.
I assume it's pretty good!
