The Role
- The overall placement work was very beneficial in terms of experience and gaining knowledge about pratical work.
- Work colleagues treated me as part of the team, and got me involved in as much as work as possible for my own benefits. The colleagues work very friendly and helpful.
- I've worked in three completely different departments and the supervisiors in all three departments have been extremely helpful. They provided me with the support and guidance whenever I struggled a bit.
- I had my own project that I was working on. I was quite busy on a daily basis doing my project and research work or helping colleagues etc.
- I was responsible for my own decisions and tasks. I was given full responsibility for my own projects.
- I find that I have become more confident and competent. - I have also become / behave much more like a professional, which will help me at university and after graduation.
The Company
- The atmosphere was very calm and frindly. All colleagues were willing to help me if I asked them something that I struggled with.
- The placement was very organised. - The placement departments and work project were all prepared before the placement commenced.
- The company provided a few professional development training sessions. This included improving presentation skills, potraying a positive professional image, improving communications skills.

- The company is a massive organisation and has a lot of work opportunities in the UK and abroad.
The Culture
- Outside work the social scene was amazing. Goign out with friends and work colloeagues was an opportunity to get to know the work people more personally.
- The cost of living was very reasonable as the town was not very expensive. - The social life was very lively and exciting.
- The night life was Ok but not the best.
