    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My work placement in AgustaWestland has been very enjoyable. It's the perfect placement for someone that loves aviation and in particular helicopters. My office faced the runway so I got incredible views all day long.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues treated me as if I was a fully qualified engineer and therefore they expected me to behave as such.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager made very clear what he expected from me and he made sure someone in the team helped me with technical issues or areas of the work I wasn't very familiar with.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • During my placement I have been writing my final year thesis and therefore it was my own responsability to produce a good piece of research work. However, I had to meet deadlines for presentations and reports since my thesis contributed to a project the company was involved in.
