  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was a priceless experience.

    • I worked as part of the team on software releases, doing both development and testing.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • I was never left stranded, there was always someone to offer support and help. I had monthly meetings with my supervisor where I could talk openly about any problems I had and he would do his best to solve them.

    • I was not thrown into anything heavy straight away. I was given time to adjust and learn and was eased into my role.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • As the placement advanced and my skills developed I was given more responsibility. I was put on projects where I was required to liaise across teams and discipline.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills I learnt here I could not have learnt anywhere else. It was a great experience. It made me a better programmer and a better professional. I am very grateful.
