About You
It was a great experience that was lots of fun whilst still being very beneficial and insightful
Everyone was very friendly and willing to offer help with any problems that you had.
Lots of guidance was given to everyone, but you knew exactly who to go to speak to if you needed any extra help which was very reassuring.
Learnt so many skills and gave me the insight I needed to decide that teaching is a career I would love to be involved in and especially with Teach First due to their great values. Aided a lot with self evaluation and therefore improved other skills by highlighting what we were learning.
The Company
Very well structured, a very clear time table that allowed many speakers to be fitted in and all the school arrangements were put in place. Any parts that did not go to plan were out of their hands!
An incredible atmosphere as surrounded by many like minded people that were very eager to learn. The speakers helped to maintain this great atmosphere by giving inspirational talks.
The whole two weeks were filled with personal training and development!! These skills will be useful throughout my life
It gave a great insight as to what it would be like working for the company, going into the schools was an incredible experience as to what it would be like taking part in the LDP.
The companies culture and believes were portrayed very well in the first week of training as it highlighted the incredible effect that they can have on communities and schools
They offered lots of support and I now know that I definitely want to be a teacher and I now know that doing this through teach first can open up many more opportunities.
Everything Else
Met and networked with so many people! Got loads of helpful advice and contacts that I will be able to use in the future when needed.
Great, staying in accommodation together allowed every one on the course to make friends easily which made the experience a lot more enjoyable.
Yes, there are so many opportunities linked with teach first that I would like to get involved with.
