    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Amazing place to work. I have been here currently for 4 months and it seems like a lot longer - I have learnt so much in my 4 months. I couldn't have asked for a better placement.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Colleagues are so supportive and friendly. If I ever have any problems I feel I can talk to my manager freely. Currently there are 11 other undergraduates working at Vauxhall Ellesmere Port and we are like a little family.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I have been given so much responsibility on my placement. I was a main member of the recruitment team - we just hired 100 new production operators, which meant I had to interview, psychometric test and dexterity test around 170 people.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The undergrads all live together in Chester so we are always doing things. The atmosphere in the office is people are here to work but they also know that without a bit of banter and laughter the day will drag - everyone is so friendly and helpful.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Vauxhall have had undergraduate schemes for years - my manager was an undergrad herself a few years ago. my collegues do not treat us like undergrads they treat us like proper employees. We are seen as part of the team.
