The Role
We were given lots of responsibilty within the job, and opportunities to take part in lots of different events throughout the year.
Given lots of responsibilty and tasked with jobs that had tight deadlines and high levels of importance.
They were always willing to stop what they were doing to answer any questions and made sure to spend time explaining what they wanted me to do so that I understood.
Depending on the time of year, sometimes I had loads to do and sometimes it was quieter, but there was always something to be getting on with.
A lot. On top of the routine jobs I was also put in charge of running a national marketing campaign from half way through my placement
We were given Excel and presentation training which have both been useful throughout this year and will be put into practise back at uni.
The Company
Relaxed and chatty. Sometimes there weren't many people in the office as lots of people would attend the sam events, but even then it was a fun environment. Everyone is really nice which makes the atmosphere a pleasant one to work in.
Brilliant. Great communication from day one and knew exactly what was happening before we started. Lots of support throughout the year always available and they really took the undergraduate programme seriously.
We had compulsory Excel and presentation training, but we were also offered further training throughout the year if we wanted it. The company really want you to do well and have the best experience possible while on placement.

It depends if there is a job available when you finish uni, but they run a form of post grad programme
The Culture
Brilliant social scene. With 90 undergrads it felt like uni but with more money! Lots of nights out and weekends away. This part of placement was such a massive part of making it so good.
Luton is fairly cheap to live in and socialise in, especially as it is so close to London.
There are a few places to go in Luton which are really cheap, but you can go into St Albans or into London really easily for a more sophisticated night!
There were sports teams that played weekly, but you could always set up more activites with the new undergrads!
